THCA or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is the predecessor to good ol' THC. Before you ignite cannabis, it is full of THCA. Once it has ben ignited, the acid or the A, burns away and your are left with THC. This has always been the chemical process when smoking or enjoying Cannabis. THCA products are just as safe as any other THC product you may have experienced.

Thanks to the Farm Bill in 2018, Cannabis was made legal in the United States when it possesses .3% of THC or less. The Bill does not mention any limitations on THCA whatsoever. This is how we are able to bring you high quality, high percentage THCA products legally and safely.

When it comes to comparing THC and THCA things can be interesting. While THCA turns into THC, THCA by itself is not psychoactive like THC is and does not bind to the same receptors that THC does. You can think of THCA like a dormant form of THC. It is only once it is "awakened" that it reaches its full psychoactive potential. One trait that THCA and THC do share are their medicinal benefits. While THCA won't elevate you like THC does, it can still help with different ailments like nausea, vomiting, inflammation, and has been shown to have neuroprotective properties. These benefits are very similar to that of THC.

When it comes to "awakening" or activating THCA and turning it into THC, the process is very simple. By keeping the Cannabis at temperatures around or above 39 - 64 degrees Fahrenheit, the A or acid from the THCA begins to decarboxylate leaving you with THC. Decarboxylating is the scientific term for a reaction that removes carboxylic acids through heat. So, by heating up THCA to the right temperatures, it naturally becomes THC.
